Stingers unbeaten for second season

By Stuart Kupfer-Hollis (coach)
Saturday saw the under 8 Margaret River Stingers play host to the Vasse Magpies.
In a seesawing battle the Stingers took the lead early courtesy of a searing run and strike from Quinn ‘steam train’ Cargill Fletcher, but the Magpies struck back late in the half to level the score.

By Neil Mattinson

MR Hammers Vs Duns Storm

By Coach Gary Leigh
This was our last home game of the season and I wanted the Hammers to play with flare and get back to a better passing game.
The Hammers were out of the blocks first and built a 3 goal lead in the opening 15 minutes of the match.
Sam Leigh’s goal [...]

What a great match up, Margaret River Munchkins versus Dunsborough
Qunidas.
Every week the Munchkin talent shines brighter. Some may think Munchkin means small, but after this weekend’s effort spectators will realise the team’s name is derived from them munching up the opposition.
Girl power Lily Mondy, [...]

U 10s
By Coach Gary Leigh
Normally there are about 200 plus players on the western oval in Margs but when your game is one of only two being played that day it can make for a quiet and lonely place.
The Hammers found themselves one goal down in only 30 seconds of the start in [...]
